Founded by perfumer Aurélien Guichard, Matiere Premiere is built around a radical idea: take one exceptional natural ingredient, overdose it, and let it carry the composition. Working from Ecocert-certified sources in Grasse, the house applies a farm-to-fragrance philosophy that prizes raw material quality above all. The men's range spans Eau de Parfum and Extrait de Parfum, including Falcon Leather, a dry, precise leather and birch study that moves easily from daily wear to evening.
