The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Solution (30ml) is a water-free solution containing an exfoliating, Beta Hydroxyl Acid combined with Witch Hazel. With regular use, the Salicylic Acid treats the appearance of blemishes and develops greater skin clarity by exfoliating the inner surface of skin pores. Not recommended for use on sensitive, broken or flaking skin, the solution should be replaced with a less direct form of exfoliation if irritation occurs. Minimising irritation by excluding silicone, alcohol, nut, soy and gluten, the solution is vegan-friendly and cruelty-free.

Directions of use:

  • Use in the AM and PM.
  • Apply a small dot directly on spots for visible improvement or apply a small amount over the face to maintain visible clarity with continued use.
  • Avoid the eye contour and contact with eyes.
  • Do not rinse off.
  • Continue with additional skin treatments as needed.
  • If irritation occurs, cease use and consult a physician.
  • Use only as directed on unbroken skin. Patch testing prior to use is advised. Please see below for an in-depth guide to patch testing.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Sunburn Alert: this product contains a Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.
  • How to conduct an at-home patch test: Patch tests are an easy way to help predict if you will have a negative initial reaction to a new product. It is recommended to perform a patch test before incorporating a new product into your routine. We have outlined a general method for conducting your own patch test. Apply a small amount of the product onto a clean area of skin on the upper forearm. Keep the area dry, preferably covered with a bandage. After 24 hours, uncover the area and rinse. If any redness, burning, itching, blistering or irritation is observed at any time throughout the test, do not use the product. Please note that the patch test is only for determining initial irritation reactions to products and does not guarantee similar results when applied to other areas of the body (including the face) or after continuous use. It does not account for underlying conditions and should not be used for the diagnosis of hypersensitivity or allergic contact dermatitis. If you are concerned about starting a new product, please consult a dermatologist prior to use.

Dispatch

Royal Mail 48 Tracked: Orders are usually dispatched the same day when placed before 12:00pm Mon-Fri. It should normally take 2-3 working days for delivery.

Royal Mail 24, Royal Mail Special Delivery & DPD: Orders placed before 12:00pm are usually dispatched the same day Mon-Fri. Orders after this threshold will be dispatched the next working day. 

Express Delivery

Express delivery is available from only £1.95. We dispatch our express orders via three different delivery options. The services available are Royal Mail 24 Tracked (not guaranteed), DPD (guaranteed) or Royal Mail Special Delivery before 1pm (guaranteed). Royal Mail Special Delivery is our only guaranteed Saturday service.

DPD express delivery service includes door to door tracking, SMS alerts and a one-hour time slot for delivery so you know exactly when to expect your beauty goodies!

Eco-Friendly Packaging

We're proud to announce that our mailing bags are made of completely recycled polythene and our bubble wrap is 100% bio-degradable. 

Justmylook accepts no responsibility for transport delays or circumstances outside of our control causing late delivery. Delivery will be to the address advised in your order. We will only deliver to the address provided at checkout. If no one is available at the postal address provided at the time of delivery, a note will be left to advise you or Royal Mail may deliver to a neighbour. Recipients can opt out of Delivery to neighbour and can also nominate a specific neighbour if they wish. Returns Policy

If you would like to return your order, please contact us via email (mailto:customerservices@justmylook.com) prior to sending your parcel back. We accept returns on all orders, as long as you notify us within 14 days of receipt that you're wanting to return your order. You then have a further 14 days to physically return the products. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods unless we delivered an incorrect item or the item is faulty. Please ensure that you keep a copy of your proof of postage, as we can't be held responsible for goods that have either been damaged or lost in transit. Goods must be returned in their original, sealed packaging and re-saleable. (This does not affect your statutory rights) If items are received back damaged, or missing items we are entitled to make a charge to cover the cost of this, and thus this may affect the amount credited to you. We aim to process returns within 5 working days of receiving the item back. If we deliver an item in error or a damaged item, we will cover the cost of returning this to us if required. Please note that we will only cover the cost of standard shipping for this. If you do receive a damaged item, please do not dispose of this without prior written confirmation from us as we may require it returned (at our expense). In the interests of hygiene, we are unable to exchange or refund any grooming, cosmetic or electrical products once the security or hygiene tag/seal has been removed, or if they show signs of use unless the items are faulty. 

Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT)

Please note that Royal Mail currently class nail polishes, flammable liquids and aerosols as "hazardous materials" and will only accept a limited number of these per parcel.

If your purchase exceeds the limits below then it will be delivered via an alternative method; Hermes if standard delivery is selected and DPD if express delivery is selected.
