Grѐs is an iconic French fashion house founded by Madame Alix Grѐs. She opened her first house ‘Alex Couture’ in 1934, where she designed and crafted bespoke women’s hats and dresses. Her clientele ranged from French aristocracy and royalty to celebrities of her time. Madame Grѐs launched her first fragrance, Cabochard, in 1958 following an inspirational trip to India, where she incorporated Indian culture and ingredients to develop a truly timeless fragrance. The brand was taken on by Silvio Denz in 2001, who has since released a range of brilliantly inspired fragrances, each presented in glass bottles inspired by 20th century French style.
