These fragrances are intended to last for between 4 and 7 hours before fading. They typically emit their fragrant scent in a rapid, impressive burst before dissipating, and are usually applied to the pulse points - wrists, chest, neck and behind the ears. This effect is achieved by a perfume oil content of between 5 and 15%, as opposed to 10 to 20% in Eau de Parfum.
