Lip size goes in and out of fashion. Due to the likes of Kylie Jenner and other celebrities so started the trend of a plumped pout and fuller thicker lips. There is proof out there, that women with all lip types can achieve a pillowy plump pout with the right tools and know hows, and more importantly no fillers are required!
Smooth
Prep your lips! Add a hydrating lip balm first before applying anything else. We recommend the iconic Carmex Cherry Lip Balm Pot, this one is formulated with Cocoa Butter, this balm glides over the lips providing intense nourishment and moisture. Camphor and Menthol cool & sooth whilst SPF15 protects the lips from the sun.
Base
Brush off flaky lips! Dry flaky lips reflect less light and a dry pucker will make your lips feel and look smaller. This can be done gently with a toothbrush but we recommend using the Saturated Colour Scrub Stick Lip Exfoliator which is sugar lip scrub and balm all in one. Formulated using natural sugar granules that soften skin whilst giving it a kiss of sweetness, lips are left feeling nourished and prepped. Alternatively, Milani Keep It Sweet Sugar Lip Scrub is great.
Even Out
Using a light weight concealer or foundation pat over lips, spreading it just over your lip line – this creates a larger canvas. Our best-selling L.A. Girl Pro Conceal HD High Definition Concealer is perfect, easy to blend and creamy.
Cupids Bow
Use highlighter in your cupids bow. Instantly this makes your lips look fuller due to light reflecting. We recommend using Sleek MakeUP Solstice Highlighting palette, this palette comes with a combination of cream and powder highlighters!
Line Them
Overdraw and exaggerate your lip line with a lip liner. We suggest using a lip liner that’s one-to-two shades darker than your natural lip colour, then outline and fill in your entire lips with it!
Void dark lipstick
Dark colours flatter the appearance of your mouth . Nude and pale lipsticks make your lips look naturally larger.
Use different nude colours
Apply one shade all over your mouth, and using a lighter colour (we suggest a white lip crayon) in the centre of your lips. If you have a full top lip but a smaller bottom lip (or vise versa), only apply the lighter shade to the opposite lip. It will even your lips out, and make them both look fuller.
Bronzer
Using bronzer, lightly dust beneath the lower lip. Subtle contour can create dimension and the illusion of a larger lower lip.
Gloss
Apply a little gloss into the centre of your lips. The gloss along with the highlighter will make your lips look fuller and plumper ! Added shine gives the illusion of bigger lips.
Conceal
After applying lip colour, line the outside of your lips with concealer. This will really make your lips and lip colour pop
