As you may already be aware, Sleek MakeUP know how to do highlighters pretty well. I own both Solstice and Cleopatra’s Highlighting palette by Sleek and I am super impressed with the quality and pigmentation. What I love about Sleek is despite of their lower price point, they always manage to compete well with higher end alternatives.
Distorted Dreams Highlighting Palette
Holographic highlighting is massively trending at the moment and Sleek is not behind. The Distorted Dreams palette comes in a gorgeous mirrored compact with a high quality mirror. However, when I first opened this palette I must admit I was a bit put off with the colours… I just saw a bunch of odd coloured highlighters but then the magic really hit me when I swatched them… the colours are actually super wearable.
The palette contains three cream shades and two powder ones. The powder can be used on top of the cream highlight to create a really lovely glow. With reflective, high holographic pigments, this radiant palette can be used to illuminate your eyes, cheeks, lips and collarbones for an almost supernatural glow.
Matte Me Metallic Lip-Creams
As a fan of the original Matte Me lip-creams which have become a staple in many of our make up bags. I was excited to try out the new metallics. The Matte Me Metallic Lip-creams come in three shades: Volcanic (a touch of purple) Rusted Rose (deep frosted rose colour) and Roman Copper (golden/amber shade ). They are a liquid formula but dry matte on the lip, which I have found last really well and are highly pigmented.
They can either be worn on their own but I preferred to layer them over lipstick, especially at the centre of the lips, it gives such a chic effect. I found Roman Copper looked lovely over a nude lipstick. Create gorgeous glittery metallic looks with these lip-creams!
Overall, this is beautiful new collection from Sleek MakeUP, that will refresh your makeup collection for summer and through to autumn. I’m really impressed that Sleek Makeup continue to excite with their lovely makeup pieces that are on-trend, high quality and yet affordable. If you are love highlighters and the unicorn highlighting craze this collection is certainly for you!
