Lusting after tousled tresses like Gigi, but no plans to hit the beach anytime soon? Trust us, it’s much easier to achieve at home than you think! In less than 20 minutes, you can create the perfect undone beach hair. Grab your styling products follow these simple steps to transform your hair into perfectly textured locks.
First off, use some sea salt spray like this one from Fudge which is perfect for achieving relaxed waves with added body and a texturised look. The spray contains hard setting polymers to give a crisp finish. The TIGI Texturising Salt Spray also works wonders as it banishes the effects of humidity and gets rid of dreaded frizz whilst creating superb texture, volume and manageability.
Holding at arms length, salt spray generously all over damp or dry hair whilst scrunching the ends and then apply a small amount of styling cream (we recommend TIGI Catwalk Curlesque Curls Rock Amplifier on the ends to give the waves some extra hold and add a little shine).
Once you have finished misting your hair, twirl small sections of hair into a messy bun high up at the back of your head. This doesn’t have to be neat or precise – remember you’re going for that effortless, just got out of bed look
After you’ve done this, simply sit back, chill and wait 10-20mins for the sea salt spray to get to work. For added oomph, complete your look with TIGI Bed Head Hard to Get Paste which works wonders on short to medium length hair and keeps the style in for longer. Rub between your fingers and work the paste into your tresses making it soft and manageable.
