We’ve taken some time-out to take an in-depth look at Xen-Tan Dark Lotion to see just how good it is.

What we think We all know that there are lots of self-tanning products out there on the market and whilst do an OK job, it’s always good to find one that is perfect for your skin type and really gives you that fabulous natural looking tan whilst leaving your skin feeling silky smooth.
Thankfully, we’re glad to report that our testers were very positive about Xen-Tan Dark Lotion. Unlike cheaper and lower quality alternatives, this product really smells great, meaning that you don’t have that tell-tale self-tanning smell. The tan too is very good and leaves you with a really natural looking tan without a hint of the dreaded orange.
Like all fake tans, it does eventually fade but it did last more than a week which makes it a very cost effective purchase. What else is good is that the fake tan fades evenly. So many cheaper fake tans leave your arms and legs looking patchy but this fades away gradually and very subtly. All in all, we loved this product!
What type of skin is it suitable for? Our team of testers have a range of skin types from dry skin, normal skin to oily skin. They all found the Xen-Tan Dark Lotion to work very well. All of our testers reported streak-free tanning that absorbed easily and it left their skin feeling really smooth and silky.
Are there any downsides? Not really! We were very impressed with this product. As long as you follow the guidelines about applying it and ensure that you exfoliate and moisturise before you apply, you’ll have no problems with this self-tan whatsoever and you will enjoy a fabulous, natural looking tan.
How to use Xen-Tan Dark Lotion
- Shake the Xen-Tan bottle gently before use
- Before applying to elbows, hands, knees and feet, it is recommended that you exfoliate and moisturise these areas
- Spray small amounts of fluid and apply to the body
- Lightly rub over elbows, hands, knees and feet
- Bend elbows and knees when applying
- Rinse with warm water once given time to develop
- Re-apply once a week

Xen-Tan Dark Lotion makes lots of promises and we’re glad to say that it delivers. The tan leaves you with is natural looking, streak-free and it lasts a long time. The fact it fades gradually and naturally too is a big bonus. Our testers were also impressed with the smell, it smells wonderful! Much better than the chemical smell that you get with lesser products. If you’re looking to change your self-tan, then you should definitely give this product a chance.
