Fake Bake Flawless is undoubtedly one of our customers’ favourite products. This popular fake tan is loved by people of all ages so we thought we’d take an in-depth look at this ever-popular product.
How does Fake Bake Flawless describe itself? “Flawless by name and Flawless by nature, this luxurious and fast-drying self-tan liquid is applied in effortless gliding strokes for a beautiful streak-free golden glow, which develops in only 4-6 hours. And with its gorgeous black coconut scent, we just know you’ll fall in love with Flawless.”
What we think Fake tanning products have come a long way in the last few years. Although there are still a few poor products on the market, the vast majority these days will give you a perfectly acceptable, functional tan. Fake Bake Flawless, however, seems to be that little bit different, that little bit more refined and it shows in the literally flawless tan it really does give you.
If you have experimented with fake tan before but been put off by the orange glow that some fake tans can give you, then you really should give this a go, as there is no hint of orange whatsoever. The mitt that comes with it is a fantastic way of applying it and we’ve not come across a better one and once applied, there is no sticky residue left, the fake tan drying in seconds leaving the skin feeling soft and silky.
What type of skin is it suitable for? Our team of testers have a range of skin types from dry skin, normal skin to oily skin. They all found the Fake Bake Flawless to work very well. All of our testers reported streak-free tanning that absorbed easily.
Are there any downsides? We’ve been really impressed with the Fake Bake Flawless fake tan and we’ve not really come across any downsides in its use. Of course, if you are after that orange glow, then this really isn’t the product for you, but if you are looking for a high quality, natural-looking tan then you cannot go wrong with Fake Bake Flawless.
The only possible negative that was mentioned during our tests was that it maybe doesn’t last as long as some other fake tans. However, its performance was much better so we all agreed that this was a fair trade-off.
How to use Fake Bake Flawless
- Shake the bottle gently before use
- Before applying to elbows, hands, knees and feet, it is recommended that you moisturise these areas
- Spray small amounts of fluid onto the mitt and use it to apply to the body
- Lightly glaze over elbows, hands, knees and feet
- Bend elbows and knees when applying
- Rinse with warm water once given time to develop
- Re-apply once a week
